This is my favorite model show of the year Because there are so many vendors with 1/72 scale model kits ... exactly my cup of tea
Though you have to get up early to get the best bargains
It is a 40 minutes drive west - direction Antwerp
Arriving too early The gate was still closed
But about ten minutes later ... we could park in the playground (the event takes place in a school in the suburbs of Antwerp)
Vendors started unpacking
Interesting subjects were revealed The brand new Mirage F1 from Special Hobby
Several Wingnut Wings models for normal prices... The W.29 was sold just before I took this picture
Artipresse (from France) almost ready for doing business
Looking around... Hasegawa Nicks for acceptable prices (14 euro)
Promotions on Revell submarines
Somebody seems to have overstocked on Finnish Buffalo's... Each one for less then 10 euro
Revell Transall for 20 euro ... this was very tempting - but I resisted
The Aviation Bookshop (from the UK) put a sales table outside
5 euro per kit
... or 10 euro for the bigger ones
Don't forget to look in the boxes under and around the table...
I spent my first 50 euro The ghost was out of the bottle now...

By now all vendors were fully in operation Let's see how much they could lead me into temptation again ! One of the 3 rooms packed with vendors
Another room...
And another room
Czech kits
I was hoping to find a Replica 21 Levasseur PL.107
... and find it I did 45 euro
The brand new Alizées - from Azur
I was still thinking about getting myself this brand new release ... or should I wait for the two seater ?
Tempting promotions
The new Revell Shackleton
And the new Revell F4U-4 Corsair
Old vacforms Including several Rareplane vacs...
So I got this - for 5 euro
One of my other objectives of the day was to find the new Mark I Models Brewster Buffalo
... which I also found
Now that is really cheap !
Do I need another New York bomber... ?
The new Airfix 1/72 scale Stuka
Another promotion which I resisted...
I also resisted this one ... now I wonder why
Top quality kit from 1959
More Rareplane vacs 2 euro each...
Danny Coremans from Daco Products - talking with a friend
I bought his new Puma decal set in 1/72 scale
You don't see it that well ... but the 1/32 scale Sea Lynx is priced at 14.95 euro I wonder what did that helicopter do to get such a good price ?
Czech vendor with the latest Czech kits
Lately I fancy doing a Condor ... though I resisted it
The first time I see Mike Grant decals (really!) So I got myself some 1/72 scale instrument decals
This is mainly a buying and selling model show - so you have to look hard to find build models outside of the contest area A small collection from a visiting German model club
Before leaving I had another go for 50 euro ... which included a decal set (= complete kit) for my Rareplane Demon
It was late afternoon when I hit the road back home again
Additional things which followed me home
I was most pleased with finding this very rare kit ... for a normal price, being 48,50 euro It was also the most expensive kit I bought this day
