The biggest show in the Netherlands is Euro Scale Modelling

... which is just a fancy name for the Dutch Nationals

It is a 2 hours drive north for me

I got up very early (6h45 AM) to avoid traffic

... and watched the sun rise on the way

And arriving slightly before 9AM

The location : the National Business Center (NBC) of Nieuwegein

... about 50 kms south of Amsterdam

Doors only opened at 10AM

... so there was a queue

6 euro entrance fee

And then you can enter two big halls

... filled with vendor tables and club stands

The show is organized by IPMS Nederland

As every year - Revell had a small promotion booth

Time to have a look at all the vendors

... or more specifically - the things they had for sale

And enjoy the beautiful work at various club stands

The Aviation Shop vendor tables

Where I found a cool subject for the Golden Age Group Build

What really surprised me...

Was this big Matchbox themed display

A very nice trip through memory lane

Set up by IPMS regio Zuid Holland

All original Matchbox model boxes were there

And many built models as well

... unpainted in true Matchbox colors / or painted...

I loved it

Other classic kits

I am a sucker for sales bins

10 euro / piece - for some not every day models

Shoot !

I paid much more for my Revell (VEB) Il-4 a long time ago

Reading material from the Aviation Bookshop

... with the latest releases

And some show promotions

And more sales bins

My "3 for 10 euro"

More sales...

And another Matchbox display

It seems Matchbox kits are getting some more love lately

I loved it

It was like being 14 again !

The awards ceremony at the end of the day

Before heading home again

After having spent an enjoyable day with Daniele - and his Hurricane

Other things that followed me home

2 euro each

And I didn't feel so bad anymore after passing on this kit for 9 euro some months ago

... good things come to those who wait !

I already have some neat A&AAE decals for this beast

... about time I got the kit as well

Back home I noticed the Revell Polikarpov was already started

... but there are 2 kits in the box - including correction/update sets for each one

So really no complaining from my end

It was a long and tiring day - but absolutely worth it

Thank you for your interest and support

... and especially Daniele for the company

All comments, remarks, corrections, suggestions are welcome
