Modellbrno 2017

Shaetann   "Fashion week - Ypres 1916"   Shennay   There were several entries in the Paper model categories 1/15 scale : Velorex Mira   And this was in the Others (Science Fiction etc...) category 1/72 scale : BU-MI X   Time to have a look at the vendors HPH - with their new 1/32 scale giant Me-323   Very impressive   The Eduard booth ... promoting the new P-40   A lot of business going on inside...   Brazmodels - visiting from Italy   IBG Models - visiting from Poland   I couldn't resist buying this thing   Our good friend Jan Hora from HR Models   I needed a Tatra truck for a future project   Brassica   ... who have a fabulous line of Tatra trucks in 1/72 scale   Ponorky   I have never seen them before But they have an interesting line of 1/72 scale submarines   A very big diorama of a Czechoslovakian airfield in 1938   ... and a Frog collection   It was a joy to see all these classic Frog kits together   Nice presentation   That Mosquito grabbed my attention   Hobby shop vendors With some new fire engines in 1/72 scale   The Special Hobby booth   With the new (re-boxed) Academy Helldiver ... with extra resin parts for a late mark version   And the new Lloyd biplane...   But I had set my mind on this   Some of the new projects in the pipeline   So many interesting models ... and so little available room in my luggage   But I thought I could squeeze this in somewhere...   The new tool Kfir from AMK in 1/72 scale   Mark I Models   With a surprise release   A brand new de Havilland Vampire in 1/144 scale   ... and the new Dornier - to be released later this summer   Kora Models   With - for me at least - the surprise of the show A brand new line of injection Curtiss Wright two-seaters...   ... and a line of new injected Focke-Wulf Fw-44s   This was a perfect choice for the current Latin America & Africa Group Build   And this just looked too fabulous to pass on by   A perfect way to close a marvelous day After having dropped off Miro at the central train station ... I took the tram back to the wellness resort   The next day my girlfriend and me packed our luggage Everything barely fitted...   And we drove back to Prague   ... where I took the flight back home   It was all highly enjoyable ... a pity we have to wait another 2 years for the next edition of Modellbrno All comments, remarks, corrections, suggestions are welcome
