We had one day of snow at the end of 2017
It was exactly on this day
I returned home after already one minute The snow was increasing - it was too dangerous to drive
Too bad I missed the last show of they year Comfort food tasted good... but was a poor substitute
Against all hopes - it cleared up after lunchtime So I borrowed my parents their car - better traction - and left around 2 PM
... for a slow 20 miles drive west
I arrived around almost 3 PM The show was almost over...
I started taking pictures of the most interesting models in the contest area
With my smartphone... I didn't have time to play around with my camera and a tripod
Friends informed me Mig Jimenez was doing his demo
So he was the surprise guest... !
After the demo I took pictures of the most noteworthy models in the military categories
But there were just too many of them...
A somewhat unusual subject for a diorama Nevertheless, it was very fascinating work to admire
The figure categories had - again - several marvelous contest entries Some of them were even somewhat weird
The funiest model in the contest... definitely Good sense of humor
I still had some time left to check out the vendor area in the second hall
As always, The Aviation Bookshop from the UK can help you with all kinds of documentation
Plenty of temptation again...
It's always a lot of fun to browse through boxes with old kits
I can't help it
ArtScaleKit was present as always - with the latest Czech kits
And with big promotions on the MPM and Azur line
I couldn't resist this...
And I couldn't resist this
The CASA was a brand new release
Which I also couldn't resist
The brand new - and yet unreleased - P-40 sprues
On the way back home I noticed all snow had almost gone Great ! At least I could enjoy the show for two hours (mumble mumble mumble... )
The folks from BSMC always know how to put up a good show
I hope next year we'll see less snow (come on global warming !) Also I am sorry about the poor quality of most of the pictures - due to time restraints Thank you all for your interest and support All comments, remarks, corrections, suggestions are welcome
