This is one of the bigger shows in Belgium And it is very popular with figure modellers
I was really looking forward to it But I left very late - somewhere after 1PM
... for a two hours drive south
The show has a new location since last year
... but finding parking space is still a bitch (except if you're part of the organisation)
The new location is a big exhibition centre - consisting of two big halls One for the vendors...
I immeditaly could kick myself for not coming earlier
Too many things to see and do...
A vendor from the Czech Republic
... with the latest Czech kits
Tempting reductions on Eduard kits !
Since this show focusses on figure modellers ... there were a lot of figure model vendors
RetroKit had a few special kits on sale
... a classic trick which I can not resist
It's always fun browsing through old cheap (1 euro) decal sheets Inspiration can be found anywhere...
Wondering if I should start building ships At 15 euro / box this was another tempting idea...
The usual second hand kits...
There were many national...
... and international club stands in the second hall
A visiting model club (Interessengemeinschaft Plastikmodellbau 1984) from Germany
With some impressive models
... of rare aircraft types
Another German club... Modellbau Club Camouflage

The contest area :
There were again many interesting models in the competition Ranging from sci-fi
... to diorama's
Some with a good sense of humor
The cold war
Some with a lot of details...
Some inspiring...
... others very realistic
Driver training
As usual there were only a few cars in the competition
Including trucks...
... and some interesting diorama's
All in all there were about 30-40 aircraft models in the contest
Note the birds on the canopy frames Yeah I know... I should get a better camera
Of course, the majority of the models in the contest were figure models
Ranging from Fantasy figures
... to Historical figures
Some were competing as a collection...
The junior category
Flat figures are gaining in popularity
I picked up these 5 euro kits
And I could fill some gaps in my Avions magazine collection
... before heading for home again somewhere after 5PM
Next year I really have to visit the show much earlier Thank you for your interest and support All comments, remarks, corrections, suggestions are welcome
