This is one of the bigger shows in the Czech Republic ... meaning the main Czech companies like Eduard, Special Hobby, AZ Models... would be present
I left home the evening before...
... flying to Prague
And the next morning I took the train to Plzen
A pleasant 90 minutes ride
And then a 10 minutes walk from the station ... to the sportshal where the show takes place
Entrance fee was 50 czk (about 2 euro)
The contest area was on the right Vendors on the left - and in the back
Again there was a pleasing number of entries on the contest tables Two tables with all the aircraft categories
From 1/144 scale...
... up to 1/72 scale...
... to the bigger 1/48 scale...
... to the big 1/32 scale
All the military vehicle categories were on the next two tables
Starting with the smaller 1/72 scale...
1/48 scale
1/35 scale
Two tables at the end displayed all the other categories

Ships... The Pinta - from Columbus fame
The São Gabriel - from Vasco da Gama fame
And the figure categories...
There were many other things to do You could enjoy the demonstrations from the R/C guys
You could follow one of the modelling technique demo's
... or you could even follow a hockey training in the other hall
I had a look at the vendor tables

... premiering the (empty) boxes of new upcoming releases It seems the Kingfisher is out soon

Do I see another suitable subject for the High Strutters group build ?
Yes
My wallet (conscience ???) started to complain ... so I took the 15h20 train back to Prague
I spent another few days with my girlfriend in beautiful Prague
... and headed back home a few days later
I like the Pilsenkit show It's not too big - and not too small - just perfect, with always a good variety of models in the contest All comments, remarks, corrections, suggestions are welcome
